Maple Bear Learning Place
We are forever learning…
I am excited to introduce an amazing team of multi-talented educators. As an early childhood leadership coach I believe that educators are instrumental in nurturing and scaffolding your children's learning journeys. At MapleBear West Coast, I have personally met up with all our educators to ensure that your children have the best guides. Take a look at their personal achievements and values.
Lead Educator, Ms Dinali
“Hello, I am Dinali.Inspired by my Mum, I stepped into teaching 10 years ago as a student teacher. To continue to “grow” myself and in this industry, I went on to attain a Diploma and a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, and a Masters in Educational Management.
Having been a level head where I have mentored and worked with teachers, leadership is something I have always been interested in since an early age. I am always aiming to further grow and develop into the best version of myself and I aspire to be an educational leader who is known for her constant love, care and joviality. I aim to inculcate a love of learning in children by creating learning experiences that are centred around their voices.
As children are a huge part of my life, I work with them outside of school settings as well. Over the weekends, you would find me actively volunteering in church to plan and run programmes for children aged 2 – 12 years old. I hope to continue using my expertise as an educator to bring love, joy and hope to all children around the world.”
Mandarin Educator, Lin Fan
“Hi, my name is Lin Fan, and I am the Chinese teacher for the toddler or playgroup class. You can call me Lin Lao Shi. I have 6 years of experience in teaching the Chinese language in early childhood。Before I joined Maple bear, I have worked in a reputable local preschool and also in an international kindergarten. Additionally, I am also a primary school tutor and a children's yoga instructor.
Importantly, I love to teach Chinese and impart the beauty of this language to the next generation! My mission as a teacher is to help children discover the joy of learning Chinese, and to help each child develop confidenceto learn, speak, read even write Chinese in the future.
As the famous saying “one language sets you in a corridor for life. Two languages open every door along the way,” by Frank Smith goes, I am convinced that learning Chinese can help your child open a new horizon to see the world.
English Educator, Madalene (Also Japanese speaking)
“Hi I am Madalene. As an educator, my wish is to to provide more exposure for the children to develop and learn through play as well as from the things surrounding them and their everyday lives. I also encourage children to be courageous and adventurous in trying out new experiences.
My students are my motivation where I would want all of them to have a chance to learn and develop in a fun and enjoyable way. I love reading in my spare time and I also hope to share this love of reading with my students too.”
Lead Educator, Ms Kalvinder
“Hello, I am Miss Kalvinder, the lead educator for Toddlers class. I graduated from Monash University, Australia with a Bachelor of Early Childhood studies Degree in 2011. I have 15 years of teaching experience in the early childhood field.
I have a strong passion in working with young children. With my teaching experiences, I have gained an appreciation of and the ability to respond to the complex roles and responsibilities which are integral to the life and identities of an early childhood professional.
Children are active learners and they learn best when they are engaged in activities that are developmentally appropriate for them. As I embark on a learning journey Maple Bear, I also hope to establish strong partnership with parents so that I can bring out your child’s full potential.
With this, I would like to leave you my favorite quote: “I touch the future. I teach.” ~ Christa McAuliffe.”
